New Beginnings
In partnership with the Archdiocese of Toronto, Catholic Family Services of Toronto offers New Beginnings programming. New Beginnings is a ministry dedicated to helping widowed, separated and divorced people make a new beginning in life.
New Beginnings provides Parish Support Groups, Bereavement Groups, Mini Renewals and Retreat Weekends.

On December 4, 2011, Catholic Family Services of Toronto Foundation hosted a Mass of Comfort and Light. The Mass was meant to help all of those among us who are saddened or lonely because of separation from loved ones, or profound loss. Bishop Vincent Nguyen celebrated the Mass. Deacon James Shaughnessey, an Agency social worker and coordinator of the New Beginnings Program, delivered the homily.
